The Langham Sydney has recently undergone a lavish multi-million dollar makeover and has re-emerged as the ultimate in modern luxury. FF&E was supplied by Indigo Living – from bespoke mahogany furniture to beds framed by studded linen headboards, each of the bespoke furnishings are beyond elaborate; custom designed and made by hand with the highest-quality materials. The result is an aesthetic that is both sophisticated and fresh, while simultaneously communicating the story of the hotel’s grand heritage.

Lobby
The lobby features a beautiful Art Deco-inspired design and a large central reception desk of gold leaf cracked porcelain. Parisian-style seating adorns the lobby with a classic palette of teal, amber, cream and gold. Vintage mirrors and stylish decorative bowls and vases also sit effortlessly together in this area. Known as the birth place of the traditional afternoon tea experience, Palm Court has been around for 150 years. Upon entering, guests are taken to the historical splendor of days gone by. Notable features include a gold studded central banquette and sophisticated amber, cream and teal seating.

Kent Street Kitchen

Guests can enjoy a warm, enchanting atmosphere created by high-end residential accents including customised freestanding wine libraries and exquisite walnut and leather chairs. The chefs table in the private kitchen is outstanding and features a white marble tabletop with royal salmon chairs.

Chuan Spa

Based on foundations of traditional Chinese Medicine, the spa is an optimal balance of the five Wu Xing elements - fire, water, earth, metal and wood - and features a palette of chocolate, black and bronze fabrics and furnishings.

Guestrooms

The rooms combine high-end luxe appeal with colonial charm to evoke timeless elegance. Each guestroom features an eclectic mix of custom made furnishings to create a truly luxurious, residential feel. In-suite details include white marble coffee tables, leather studded guest chairs, oversized super-king beds and walnut dining tables.
