  • What are the benefits of renting furniture?

Whether you’re looking for a single piece of furniture, a room package, or to furnish an entire home, staff quarters or complex, our flexible, rental solutions cover everything from furniture, kitchenware, bed linen and electronics, from as little as 1 month to 2 years.

  • What are your available lease terms?

    At Indigo Living, furniture rental leases cover both short-term rentals (from 1 month to 1 year) and long-term rentals (1 year +).

  • Can I rent furniture on a weekly basis instead of monthly?

    Our short-term rental is quoted on a month-by-month basis; we can remove the rental furniture anytime during the lease period.

  • Can I rent a single piece of furniture?

    You can rent individual pieces or whole packages to completely furnish your home. There is no minimum monthly rental fee required.

  • What if I need to end my lease early?

    We understand unexpected things happen. You can terminate your agreement prior to the end of the lease date. However, you are obligated to settle the remaining months of the lease term.

  • What happens once the lease is over?

    Once the lease is over you have these options, you can: 1) continue to rent the furniture 2) exchange your items and enter a new lease, 3) if you really love the items, we have a buyback option for long-term rentals, or 4) simply contact your consultant to arrange a time to collect the furniture.

  • I like the furniture; can I purchase the items at the end of my lease?

    Yes! For long-term rental, if you love the furniture, you can consider to buyback all or part of the furniture in your lease.


  • How do I select the furniture?

    You will be assigned a consultant who will be happy to assist you from arranging a site visit to selecting furniture at our flagship store at 6/F, Horizon Plaza, Ap Lei Chau. If you are not available or is still living overseas, you can view our furniture collection on our website or on our online lookbook. There is a standard set of furniture used for short term lease and the furniture offered will depend on our warehouse inventory.

  • Will the items I receive be brand new or used?

    For long term lease, all the furniture will be brand new unless otherwise requested. Furniture for short term lease are secondhand but in good condition; styles are subject to availability.

  • What if the furniture I selected is not available at the time of delivery?

    A replacement furniture will be suggested to ensure your delivery is ready all at once. However, if you are happy to wait for the upcoming shipment, we can provide you with a temporary furniture to enjoy.

  • Can I rent linens, kitchenware, electronics and window treatments?

    To complete your home, linens, kitchenware, electronics and window treatments can also be included in our rental package.

  • What happens if I would like to exchange or return the furniture during the rental period?

    Once the furniture is delivered, the furniture selected can no longer be exchanged unless due to a product issue. You can return an item you no longer need during the lease period however you are required to continue to settle the monthly invoices until you’ve completed the minimum lease period.

  • What happens if the furniture is damaged during the rental period?

    Please take care of the furniture as your own. Normal everyday wear and tear are acceptable. Damages are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Should the furniture require cleaning or repairing, fees will be charged. If you need an item replaced, please contact your consultant.

Delivery/Pick-up, Assembly & Installation

  • Do you deliver to my area?

    We deliver anywhere in Hong Kong except Cheung Chau Island or areas that require delivery via ferry/boat.

  • How much time in advance do I need to book my delivery/pick-up?

    We suggest you notify us as early as possible to ensure the preferred date for deliver/pick-up is available. Also, the delivery date corresponds with the agreement which should be prepared and signed a week prior to delivery.

  • Do I have to pay for delivery and assembly?

    The one-off delivery, setup and pick-up fee will range between HK$800 to HK$5,600 depending on the number of pieces you rent. There is an additional fee for Discovery Bay & Park Island areas at HKD 800.00. Staircase fees and abnormal access charges are at HK$80/large piece. **Other additional fees may apply. Show flat/home staging services are charged separately.

  • What if I need to reschedule my delivery/pick-up?

    Should there be any changes or cancellation on the delivery/pick-up, please notify us at least 3 working days prior to the confirmed delivery/pick-up date. Additional charges will apply for late cancellation or changes.

Billing & Payment

  • Do I need to pay for security deposit?

    Yes. The security deposit is equivalent to 1-month rental and the total amount will vary depending on the type of lease.

  • How does billing work?

    Your rental commences on the delivery date. The monthly invoices will be sent to you by mail a month in advance and shall be settled before the next rental month.

  • What forms of payment do you accept?

    We only accept cash, cheque, bank/online transfer and wire transfer. Indigo Living will not bear any bank charges.


  • Will someone help to furnish my apartment?

    Our professional logistics team and consultant will deliver, setup and assemble the furniture in you home within a day; in some cases, delivery may require more than 1 day.

  • Does Indigo Living provide Home Staging services?

    Yes! Increase the appeal of your property to potential buyers or tenants and maximize the return on your investment with our show flat and property styling services. Just contact our consultants to find out how we can help.

  • What are the terms and conditions?

    We have a simple lease agreement which you would need to sign after you have confirmed the order. Please drop us an email at corporatesales@indigo-living.com if you would like to review the terms and conditions in advance.

  • What is the typhoon and rainstorm arrangements?

    Indigo Living will make the following arrangements when Tropical Cyclone Signal No. 8 or above, an "Extreme Condition" announcement or a black rainstorm warning signal is issued.

    - Signal hoisted before 14:00 – All AM deliveries will be rescheduled while PM deliveries remain unchanged

    - Signal hoisted after 14:00 - All deliveries will be cancelled and rescheduled to another working day.

    During such weather conditions, there may be unexpected delays due to the traffic conditions.
